Accessibility
What has been done so that anyone can use this site, which parts do not meet the standard yet, and how to report a problem.
The accessibility standard this site aims for
This site is designed and reviewed to meet level AA of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. Today it partially meets that level: the known limitations are listed below.
What has been done
- Clear structure: every page has a single main title, its sections are ordered with headings and the page language is declared, so a screen reader pronounces it correctly.
- Keyboard navigation: the menu, its dropdowns and the forms work without a mouse, and a link at the start of every page skips straight to the content.
- Contrast: text colours against their background meet the contrast ratio WCAG 2.2 sets for level AA.
- Photographs: every photograph that carries information has a text alternative describing what it shows.
- Responsive layout: pages read just as well on a narrow phone as on a wide desktop screen, and text can be enlarged without losing content.
- Motion: when the system asks for reduced motion, the site’s entrance animations are switched off.
Known limitations
- The brides’ video reviews have no captions.
- Some buttons that only show an icon do not yet have a name a screen reader can announce.
Both limitations have been identified and are being fixed.
How to report a problem
If any part of the site cannot be used, or a text alternative or caption is missing, write to . Please say which page it was and what went wrong. The information on that page is sent in another format and the fault is fixed on the site.
How this statement was prepared
The statement is based on a self-assessment of the site against WCAG 2.2 level AA, combining an automated audit of every page with a manual review of keyboard navigation, text alternatives and contrast. It was prepared in October 2026 and is reviewed whenever a design change is published on the site.
