Wedding makeup
Natural, luminous and lasting wedding makeup, with professional products from Chanel, Dior, MAC, NARS, Guerlain and Charlotte Tilbury. Includes personal advice, a trial and a touch-up kit for adjustments during the celebration.
At almost every trial there is a moment when the bride points at something on her own face and lowers her voice to name it: a scar, a shadow under the eye, a mole. Something she decided, at some point, that she would rather not have. That idea is rarely her own. It comes from months of looking at photographs that were retouched, filtered or generated by a machine, where the skin has no texture because it is nobody’s skin.
Real skin has texture and a real updo moves.
I work with the face in front of me. I prepare the skin, I bring the light to the eyes and I choose a shape that holds, so that the thing she called a flaw stops sitting at the centre without anyone having to erase it. Real skin has texture and a real updo moves, and on the Costa del Sol there is heat, humidity and sea wind from the ceremony to the last dance. Neither of those is a fault in the day.
So a large part of my work happens before I open a single product, and it is not technical: listening and empathy are at the heart of how I build a look. Each proposal grows from there, from who she is, the dress she has chosen, the ceremony and the real conditions of the day. That is the moment when the woman in front of me stops measuring herself against something that does not exist and starts truly seeing herself.
Work philosophyMakeup and hair are never planned apart: they are built together so the same face holds from the ceremony to the last dance.
A bride marrying at midday at a country estate in Mijas is not prepared the same way as one marrying at sunrise by the sea, and a wedding with the whole family gathered is not prepared like a wedding with almost no one. Each wedding brings its own timing, its own weather and its own customs, and the makeup and hair are decided from all of that, not from a reference photo.
At a wedding in a Mediterranean climate, on the Costa del Sol or in Mallorca, heat, humidity and sea wind are there from the ceremony to the last dance. Whether the bride lives in Andalusia or travels to get married, the updo is built to move without coming down and the skin is prepared so it does not shine where it should not. When the bride lives abroad, the wedding is organised from a distance, and trust is built from the first conversation.
British and Irish weddings often come with many bridesmaids, and each one needs her turn for hair and makeup. That changes the timing of the whole morning: the schedule is worked out backwards from the time of the ceremony, and the size of the team is matched to the number of people to prepare.
Weddings with an Arab influence and those with an Asian influence, from South Asia, China or Japan, come with traditions that set the order of the whole morning. There are rituals that mark the schedule, veils and headpieces that must stay secure for hours, family jewellery placed with care and, often, many women of the family to prepare from very early on. Knowing that order before arriving is part of the work, because the hair has to be finished when each moment begins.
An intimate wedding has a different rhythm. Sometimes the couple marry almost alone and want their photos at sunrise, so the hair is started before dawn to last the whole session, with the wind moving the veil. And at a wedding with two brides, each bride has her own trial and her own style.
Whatever the style, the starting point is the same: getting to know each bride before deciding anything, so that at the end of the day she still recognises herself in the photos.

It all starts with a conversation about the wedding, where the getting ready will take place and what the bride imagines for the day. From there comes a proposal for makeup, hair or both. One or two months before, the trial takes place with no clock: makeup and hair are looked at in daylight and adjusted until the bride recognises herself in the mirror.
On the wedding morning, the team arrives at the getting-ready location with everything needed and the timings already worked out, so there is no rush. That same day the mother, the sisters and the bridesmaids also have their makeup and hair done, each in her turn.
Weddings in Andalusia
Approximate driving times from Fuengirola, without traffic.
I am based in Fuengirola, and from there I drive to any part of Andalusia. I have prepared brides in Cádiz, Seville, Granada, Córdoba and Almería, and I always come to wherever you get ready: your home, the hotel or the venue. What changes from one wedding to the next is the drive to that place: it decides whether I go there and back on the day or whether it is worth staying nearby the night before.
| Time by car | Travel |
|---|---|
| Up to 1 h 30 | On the day, at any time |
| 1 h 30 to 2 h 30 | A night nearby is weighed, depending on the wedding time and the budget |
| More than 2 h 30 | The night before |
Weddings outside Andalusia
I also travel to weddings outside Andalusia. For the two brides at Sa Pedrissa in Deià, I flew from Málaga with all my kit and did both brides’ hair at the villa where they got ready. The kit travels as checked luggage so it arrives protected, and the flight, accommodation and meals are in the quote. There is no distance limit: tell me where and when your wedding is, and I will explain how the journey is arranged.
If you need a few days to decide, the date can be held for a week at most. To find out whether your date is free, write with the day and the venue of the wedding. The reply includes the dossier, with the rates and what each service includes.

I studied art at secondary school and went on to an advanced diploma in styling and personal image. My first years in the trade were spent in large salons in Puerto Banús and Marbella, on the Costa del Sol. Later I opened my own salon, leading a team, and during those years I specialised in colour analysis and face-shape analysis. Some years on, I stepped away from the trade for a while to study interior design, and came back seeing the work differently:
An advanced diploma, taken after studying art at secondary school.
Choosing the tones that flatter each skin and each head of hair, and reading the shape of a face to decide where volume belongs and where the light should fall.
Composing a space trains the eye to see the whole: proportion, colour and light.
Today I don’t think about a makeup look or a hairstyle on its own, but about how it sits with the dress, the venue, the light and everyone around the bride.
Makeup and hair are never planned apart: they are built together so the same face holds from the ceremony to the last dance.
The service includes the trial and advice throughout the year, right up to the wedding day. For makeup, it also includes a touch-up kit in the shades chosen at the trial, handed to you on the wedding day: your lip colour, blush, setting powder, blotting papers, a mirror and a small pouch to take your makeup off at the end of the night.
Weddings are covered throughout Andalusia, from a base in Fuengirola. Up to an hour and a half by car, travel is done on the day; between an hour and a half and two and a half hours, a night in the area is weighed, and further away it is always part of the plan, included in the quote.
The service can include the people closest to you. The most common arrangement is you plus two companions: usually your mother or the person closest to you, and often a sister or your best friend as well.
There is no single price, because every wedding has its own quote. The bridal rate includes the trial, the makeup touch-up kit and online advice. Depending on the wedding, it is joined by the people getting ready besides the bride, the travel fee, accommodation and meals when the wedding is far away, and a small surcharge for a very early start. Every price is in the dossier, which you receive when you ask about your date, through the contact form or any other channel, along with answers to all your questions.
